Superior feeding
system with the
DC10/60Pro
The high speed and accurate feeding of
the DC10/60Pro suction collating towers,
delivers superior performance and
high productivity. Up to 60 bins can be
connected.
The AMS feeding system ensures
that paper stocks from 356mm(W) x
508mm(L) and weights up to 300gsm can
be fed with ease.
High productivity is maintained at all
times with faulty sets automatically
diverted without stopping production.
Faulty sets once corrected can be simply
fed back into the DBM500Pro.
A built hand marry unit allows for
pre-collated sets to be merged
automatically with sets from the
DC10/60Pro.
A fast and accurate double sheet and
miss detection system, and a user friendly
colour touch screen allows for each job to
be set up within seconds.
The Duetto System
The Duetto bookletmaking and collating
solution incorporates up to three
DC10/60Pro collating towers, a DSF-2000
Dynamic sheet feeder, DBM-500Pro
bookletmaker, DBM-500TPro trimmer and
the DKT-200 Trimmer.
The Duetto system is the rst of its kind
to address both digital and oset printing
requirements. The ability of the
DBM-500Pro to handle set by set and
sheet by sheet output with equal ease
makes the system ideal for printers
making the transition from oset to
digital, allowing the incorporation of
colour content and variable data into
their nishing solutions.
Printers once had to purchase two
separate nishing lines for either oset
or digital. The Duetto is the rst system
to oer a combined oset and digital
nishing solution.
Truly Automatic
nishing
The System 5000Pro bookletmaker
incorporates a fully automatic
changeover from one job to the next
within 60 seconds, making it the worlds
easiest to use stitcher/folder/trimmer.
A Tooless Operation allows you to go
from a 356mm(W) x 508mm(L) sheet size
to a CD size book, without any additional
parts or manual intervention. Even
producing books as small as a 105 mm
width only takes a few minutes to set up.
A user friendly touch screen panel
provides complete control over all book
parameters. Up to 4 Hohner stitching
heads, side guides, back stops and front
joggers, and even the fold roller gap and
trimmer belt heights, and trim positions
all move totally automatically within 60
seconds.
Easy changeover is achieved by diverting
corner or side stitched jobs to a separate
built in catch- tray. When completed the
back stop assembly automatically lowers
to allow for the production of saddle
stitched books through the trimmer onto
the long delivery stacker.
Up to 12 memories are provided for
frequently used jobs, these can be simply
recalled for eortless changeover.
The fully automatic system 5000Pro
oers precision and versatility over a
wide range of book sizes. The heavy
duty and highly productive system can
deliver up to 9,000 booklets and 10,000
collated sets an hour. For both the
Oset and Digital printer the feature
packed System 5000Pro will turn any
novice into a nishing expert
3 knife trimming
DKT-200 “Delivering
the nished
product”
The DKT-200 provides a scaleable and
modular solution to the requirements of
three knife trimming for saddle stitched
and folded books. The 2 knife operation
ensures high quality and accuracy is
achieved. Larger sheets such as B3 or
SRA3 can be loaded into the DC10/60Pro
towers and collated, stitched, folded, 3
knife trimmed and holed punched in
one complete operation. The modular
approach of the trimmer ensures that all
existing 5000 system users can simply
add the DKT-200 to suit their individual
requirements and budgets when
required.
Setting up the knife positions is
performed by a fully automatic process.
The operator simply enters the job
parameters into the DBM-500Pro touch
screen, leaving the DKT-200 to set up
the nished book size within 60 secs. All
jobs are stored in one of the available 12
memory positions, and simply accessed
for future use. Production output is
further increased with the optional
gutter cut knives with two up books
increasing productivity up 9,000 books
per hour (depending upon book sizes
and thickness). A heavy duty and robust
trimming mechanism, provides for
precision and accuracy.
To maintain production speeds
nished books are delivered onto the
ergonomically designed long conveyor
with all paper waste easily and safely
removed into an external hopper. The
DKT-200 has been designed to connect
to existing DBM 500 bookletmakers
and DBM 500T trimmers as well as
the DSF2000 and DSF5000 range of
digital sheet feeders. A range of options
including 2 and 3 hole punching tools
are also made available to increase job
exibility and production output.
A Modular Approach
Duplo has designed print nishing
systems with modular components,
which communicate with one another.
Changes between jobs, even between
sheet-by-sheet and set-by-set input, is
at the touch of a button. The modular
system means printers can invest in
equipment to meet current demands,
and scale up the system as those
demands change. Our newest module
the DKT-200 provides an independent
approach to trimming both the top and
bottom of the book as well as removing
the gutter or middle of the book for 2
up applications. This removes the need
to pre-guillotine printed pages before
collating, saving both time and money.
